They say meeting your heroes is a terrible thing because of over-expectation. Stumbling through my words and thoughts, I gained artistic context and overcame shyness from meeting some of my “heroes.” How about John (center-right) and Trishna (center-left)? Do they even have celebrity figures they admire? Let’s take a psychological detour for this week’s update to “The Story” and consider how respect for authority, ambitions, and the drive to emulate, create, or procrastinate inspires idolization.

Since I primarily type and navigate technology with my right hand’s index finger and thumb, I’ve tied these fingers together for method acting during this week’s update to “The Story” to empathize with how John (below, left) would use technology. It’s not easy! John and Trishna (right) are fortunately strong-willed characters, so let’s explore how they’ve adapted to their impairments, how their world broadly considers accessibility, and how technology has helped both them and us.

Last week’s brainstorming update to The Story led to storms of idea static surging my brain.
