[Sober Living] My Superpower: Persistence

“If I had a superpower, it’d be persistence.[1]” I’m tested against that seemingly arrogant statement every moment of every day. There will always be reasons to slip. Peace might just be unobtainable through any other means than constant conflict, yet that’s the only way I see that will get me to a place where I won’t feel tempted due to insecurity, doubt, or misery. To persist in the face of adversity is my comfort zone.

[Career Story] Job Hunting Plans

With this project’s end date fast approaching and without a solid next gig, what better time than now to consider how I’ll like be going about looking for my next gig? [Applied Psychology] Sabaton Concert Review (2018)

Life is a rollercoaster, with the occasional isolating feeling that what you’re going through is unique to the history of humanity. While no one has been through your exact life’s experiences, there have been many brave individuals that have braved through circumstances far worse. When I listen to Sabaton or see them live (4th time now!), their lyrics detailing historic battles remind me to press forward, and their music inspires me to address life’s stresses!
